I am Bobbi Goldstein, and I am a professional tutor. I tutor grades Prek-5th grades in Reading, Comprehension, and Writing. I will improve your child’s reading skills to enable your son or daughter to read and write on their grade level. 

I tutor children at my home in Culver City, which is centrally located in between West Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Westchester.  My fees are very reasonable and I am flexible with hours and days.

I have a BA in Early Childhood Education from Cal State Northridge. I’m also a certified Preschool director and have worked for 30 years as a preschool teacher/director. I have since retired from preschool teaching and obtained my training as a tutor from the Jewish Federation Council Koreh Organization. I volunteered with them for 2 years at one elementary school after training with their staff. After two years of volunteering for Koreh, I decided to expand and go out on my own to offer my services to many children from a variety of schools. I tutor one child at a time to give them personal attention which helps give them confidence in improving their reading and writing skills. After each tutoring session I have a brief conference with the parent to assess the child’s progress.  During the first session, I evaluate your child to see what level of reading they are at and where I need to start with them. Many of my students have graduated from my tutoring services and are reading and writing at their grade level.
